Spain and France will block any move by Sturgeon. Nicola was trying to make friends but there is noway Scotland can escape Brexit. As part of the UK there is no place for Scotland at the EU table. She was very statesmanlike, smiled for the cameras but of course left with nothing. She is good, she is using and abusing the referendum decision as another attempt to obtain a devolution vote. Nicola Sturgeon flew into Brussels for a series of pointless meetings extolling her love of Europe. If we think we are going to get anywhere near a deal that is in Britain`s best interest we need to train the 25 quickly.we as a nation are so ill equipped for this it`s scary. Brussels has 596 trade negotiators, Britain has 25. There is no way these two are ever going to give up the freedom of movement clause and now we have to start negotiating from a position of weakness. The finger of blame is most definitely being pointed at Britain. Tusk and Juncker will now play the anti British political game, the initial game failed partly because of their inflexibility. Some in Europe are now listening but it`s too late, we negotiated as a member state and were simply not listened to. If Cameron had returned from Brussels with something on migration the referendum may have been different.he didn`t, he lost and he resigned. The political fallout from the Brexit continues. We are left as an island nation, uncertainty, British but not really European. We will become an isolated nation on the outside looking in as the world becomes more connected and strives to create globalization for all. I still find it amazing that the country voted for Brexit and we now cannot do anything about it. Democracy is a wonderful thing.one person one vote.
